In addition to a life of prayer and work, monks provide an important service to the community. Anyone who is of good will can contemplate and reflect in an atmosphere of prayer, beauty and silence.

Join in prayer

Anyone wishing to reflect personally on the rhythm of the monks’ liturgy can stay in the guest accommodation for a few days.

The prayer moments of the monks are open to all. Many people decide to attend the Eucharist or the closure of the day (Compline), and some even do so every day. Others also attend morning, midday or evening prayers.

But anyone who wants to experience the rhythm of prayer within the abbey in full can stay at the abbey for a few days and nights to see and take part in the entire liturgy of the hours.

Guest accommodation accommodation for silence and calm

Our hospitality is aimed at personal contemplation and, occasionally, contemplation within a group.

We offer visitor accommodationfor this purpose. Anyone who experiences silence and calm as beneficial is welcome to stay here for a few days of contemplation and prayer. Participating in a few moments of daily prayer of the monks is an essential part of any stay.

Groups are occasionally accepted. In principle, groups provide their own support and guidance, but they can ask a monk for assistance.

Request for visitor accommodation

If you wish to make use of the visitor accommodation or if you want more information, please contact the monk tasked with receiving guests using the contact details below. Please do book your stay at least two weeks in advance.

The monks hold a day of silence on the first Sunday of each month. The guest house is closed from the previous Saturday from 4 pm until Monday morning 9 am. It is also closed every year from September 1 to 15, and during the first week of Advent (usually the first week of December).

Furthermore, the abbey is only accessible for attending liturgical services
