Competition has been increasing for a number of years. In light of this, measures are needed in the areas of trademark protection, marketing and communication.

In the meantime, the monks have also thought about their relationship with their industries. We might wonder for example whether an alcoholic drink is a legitimate product for a community of monks. And also whether a modern industry, with its increasing complexity, is compatible with a secluded life in silence.

For the moment the monks have decided to ensure the employment of the workers and to provide good working conditions. We also look closely at the quality of the product, which is the result of a long tradition and with which they have a link that is prescribed by the law of the Order.
